Weber Summit S-460 Review
Being a grilling enthusiast is one thing; cooking tasty grilled food is another thing. So even if you are a grilling enthusiast, you need a complete grill that plays an important role in cooking tasty food. Talking about a great grill, recently Weber launched its new stainless steel grill with built-in Natural Gas capability, the Summit S-460.
The Summit series are known to be one of the best grills by Weber in terms of performance, looks and some exclusive features. This monster grill has around 468 sq. inches of primary cooking area and 112 sq. inches in the form of warming rack which makes the total cooking area of up to 580 sq. inches, which will be enough to cook lots of food for large crowds.
It also boasts four stainless steel burners that generate 48,800 BTUs and a Sear Station which generates 10,600 BTUs. You can ignite all the burners easily and quickly thanks to the Snap-Jet ignition technology for each burner. S-460 also features stainless steel rod cooking grates whereas stainless steel Flavorizer bars do a great a job of holding and distributing even heat over the cooking area.
If that’s not enough for you then Weber has also equipped S-460 with a stainless steel smoker box along with a 6,800 BTUs smoker burner, add to that infrared rotisserie rear burner with 10,600 BTUs, a heavy-duty motor and spit fork attachment.
It is even easier to cook during night time thanks to the LED lighted control knobs which can be found on the front panel of the grill. What more? To cook foods properly and keep them tasty, there’s also a thermometer which lets you know the cooking temperature, so you can set it as you want.
Moreover, the stainless steel shroud is well-built can last for years and it also features a nice polished handle made of stainless steel. Its built-in grill has a unique style which also incorporates a storage area which seems just right to store your propane tank and to keep it out of sight the grill has 2 stainless steel doors.
Lastly, the cleaning and maintenance is easy as well due to the SlideFrame design of S-460. A small but useful feature is that when the lid opens or closes it is indicated by a light sensor. Users also get a grill cover for its protection. Although it can be expensive for many people, but for those who can afford it can be a real treat!
